Went to a Vettes only 'show & shine' at the Seaview Chevrolet dealer in Lynwood. 97 vettes there in 90 deg weather. I took 2nd out of the 15 mid-years there! :cool: Anyways....I'm driving home down I-5 at speed :D to stay as cool as possible when I notice a helicopter taking off from Boeing field below and off to my right. I watch him come right over me at tree top level and I look easily off to my left to watch him go by. Pretty loud at that altitude. Well, he doesn't show on my left and I still hear him above me. I hold onto my hat and look up.....I see a big ol' arm hanging out the pilots (left) window and he's waving ;hard and thumbs- uping me!! :D :D. I give him a big wave, he pulls his arm in and veers left to continue on. A few other cars saw this and honk a few times. WOW...That was neat. I grinned for awhile. Just thought I'd share.

Last Friday evening two teenyboppers in a K-car passed me on the left on the one way street out of the little burg where I live. The cutie in the passanger seat stood up, turned around and raised her top. I'm 55 and gray headed and look like the Grandpa that I am but I appreaciated the flash and "waved" thanks to her as I continued on my way. Save the Wave. :D

That's got to rank "high" on the list of waves...very flattering and complimentary!!

I was on my way to work (I DRIVE this '5!!):cool:. Got stopped at a light on Groesbeck and on my left a big Lincoln Town Car pulls up. As I glanced at the driver, the side glass of the Lincoln buzzes down and a sharp looking gal says: "I love your Vette, Sharp!!". To which I replied, "Lady, you just made my day!" I love it!! I'm 59 and just for a few seconds, man, I trimmed a few years off me :D :D

I am curious about LABRAT's response to the flasher.

I agree Jim, naked ladies flashin' rates higher than an arm out a chopper for me too. Can't wait for that to happen! Chopper wave was cool though. :yesnod: :lol:

Sorry I'm only able to wave with my hands. I called the wife on the cell phone and we both had a good laugh. I appreciated the view but I have a wife that lets me drive a '55 Chevy, '59 Vette, '90 Reatta, and 74 Jag. She is golden and we both agree I can look all I want just don't touch. Save the Wave gang.
