I've been checking out different Grand sport makers and i've found a few.
Mid-america
GSR inc
Studio X
D&D
does anyone have any experience with these companies? I would like to know of some websites that i can explore and get more info. I've been to Mid-americas site(not much) but what about the others?
GM shut the ones down that were making replica bodies from scratch, protecting their "trade dress" from the design copyright, in the same manner as Ferrari has shut down everyone that was making knockoffs of many of their classic designs. Mid-America starts with a production body and replaces the front and rear clips with their own, so GM considers that a "modification", not a body created from scratch, so they've left them alone.
I built mine using a Mid-America chassis and body. What nice about these is that they're a real Corvette.
Why build one when you can buy mine? I've decided to let it go to a good home. I have a kid on the way, my wife and I need newer cars and I want to get rid of my CC debt.
Mecomracer, Great looking GS. I have a GS roadster very similiar, same color combo.
One question, where did you get your decals for the numbers, Mecom racing, etc. I would like to do the same basic graphics but have not found a company that produces them.

Thanks in advance
You have mail.
Just a note... the gumballs you see were the first set I did which I thought were too small. I've since put larger ones on.

If I weren't half way through with my own GS project I'd be all over your car. It is simply the best looking Mid Year Corvette I have ever seen, everything thing about it is just perfect!
