Anyone also have/build a 32 deuce?
Friends, I was wondering if anyone in the forum is also into hotrods? I am considering a brookville bodied/TCI framed project powered by a flathead. I think it would look nice in the garage next to my '63 split.
Thanks,
Jordan

I don't have a deuce, but....

I'm actually sort of looking for a roadster. Had one in the past.

Yes, I'm into street rods. No deuce in the garage but I'm currently building a '37 Ford pickup. The Brookville body is pretty nice, there may be a waiting list to get one, combined with the TCI frame would be a nice platform. There is another company building steel 32 Ford roadster bodies if your interested.
My current project will run a 283 backed by a four speed, carb setup is an original Corvette 2x4 intake with WCFB's sitting between Corvette script valve covers. That should raise some eyebrows when I take it to a cruise night put on by one of the local Vette clubs :D

I built a 32 Roadster several years ago. Alas I sold it about 95% complete so never got to drive it. Feel free to e-mail if you want to BS rods (my 65 Corvette probably is more of a street rod than a Corvette anyway).
Search the C3 archive under "other hot rods" and you'll see some photos of my old '27 "T" and '32 Roadster.

Yes, I drive a 32 3 window coupe along with my 91L98, triple black 6 speed vert. It's a Hastings body, Just-A-Hobby frame, Heidt's super ride, 9" posi. Aldins & Wilwood all around. It's powered by a 30 over 396 and a GM 350 trans. Bright orange with Americans and commercial headlights. Nice stance and fun to drive. I read here because I'm a past owner of a 61,62,64Coupe and a 67 Vert which of course I sold way back when for $2700 with the 64's KH knockoffs and side pipes. I keep looking for the correct C1 and/or C2 to fool around with once again. My wife's panicked....Frank

If your interested, 'Automobile' magazine (current issue) has an article about the "original" Little Deuce Coupe featured on the Beach Boys album. It is restored back to [almost] the same as it was then. :D

I've been to 90% of the Street Rod Nationals including Louisville a few weeks ago. I've had a 31 ford coupe with a 'vette motor since 1979. Also have a '62 vette since 1972 and an '84 vette since 1985.
You can see the 31 @ http://motorstatestreetrods.homestead.com/clubcars.html
Brookville makes good stuff but expensive. :yesnod:
