Carb Mods any pros out there????
We all know we have limited hood clearance. My holley has about an inch of clearance between the front of the choke tower and the top of the air cleaner. Question is does it help performance to:
1) Remove choke butterfly?
2) Mill off some or all of the choke tower?
Just curious.

all you need is 1/2 inch above the top of the choke tower for a holley to work properly.

I've heard that milling the choke horn off does nothing and may, in fact, hurt flow as it is no longer directed into the carb. Witness the use of K&N StubStacks. For most of us, it dont make a durn bit o'difference.
