65 Clean Air hose ?
I have a 65 327/365 and I noticed in Noland Adams book ( pgs 274,275 ) a hose running from under the air cleaner to a tube inward of the RH exhaust manifold, parallel to the choke tube. It's in the AIM pg E305 as a " production hose to air cleaner ". L.I.C. lists it as a Clean air hose . I have the Holley Carb . Does anyone know if this hose is necessary ?
Thanks KLEN

If it wasn't necessary, GM wouldn't have spent the money to install it. It sounds like
you're talking about the choke clean air tube. Yes, it's necessary if you want the choke
to operate properly and not get clogged up with dirt and malfunction.
