Default C1 Wheels

If you have aftermarket wheels on your C1, can you post some pics? Also post the size of the wheels/tires.

Thanks.

Here you go. They are 15 inch Rally's with moon discs... Hardly AGGRESSIVE... but they do look nice.

Tomorrow I was planning on putting the stock style wheels and wide whites/ hubcaps from my 57 on her to see how she looks. I will try and post an "after" shot

Best,
Jacob

Default Dayton Knock-off Wires

Dayton Wire Wheel poster Vette. True knock-offs, not bolt ons with 72 spoke radial lace 15X6 wire wheels sporting blackwall 215X65R-15 Goodyear GT radial tires. These wheels are identical to those used in the Route 66 TV program of the early 60`s. Check photo link below.

These are bolt-on wires, got them for $200 off ebay, not purfect but cleaned up real nice.

If you get a set that needs rechromeing, $400/wheel if you can find someone to do it, you can have them powercoated with a silver/chrome and they look almost as good as chrome($60-80). I had a set of real KO wires done this way for my 66 and really like the look.

If you use the older wires on a disk brake setup you will need 1/2 in spacers.

An old '60's set of 15x6 American Torq-Thrusts, refurbished by a friend who is a machinist.

The tires are Coker redline radials, 205/75 front and 215/75 rear.

I actually bought this setup for my ex-'65 GTO, but it sold before I could get them on. Otherwise, I would have used proper blackwalls.

Click on the pics to see them full size.

These are 15x6 front and rear, the tires are 65 series in front and 70 series in back. I sold the car and can give you a good deal, if you are interested.

Don't know teh backspacing anymore, when i looked thru the Cragar catlogue, the *standard* wheel fit the bill for my measurements.

P265/50-15 on the rear, P225/60-15 in front.

That combo has the same tire height.
