Carter AFB identification
I have a carter AFB that came with my 63 340. The carb has a tag on it which has 3461S on it and the numbers on one of the feet on the base are 3720SB and B7 which I am assuming to be the date code.
The JG that I have shows a 3721S or SA for a 64 327 300. That's the closest application I can find for the ID.
Does anybody know what it is I have? Size/applicaation? It looks like all the pics I have of a 3461S but I don't believe the tag as it just bolts on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

A 3720SB is a '64 carb from a 327/300 with a PG. The tag was evidently switched. Or, the top of the '63 carb might have been bolted to the '64 base, who knows? I believe that the 300 and 340 hp carbs were the same.
My '63 340 hp carb has no tag, but the base does have 3461S on it.
