Default Headers for a 63

I am looking for recommendations on aftermarket headers for my 63 SWC.
Motor is a new ZZ4 running through stock 2.5 in. exhaust manifolds to stock side mount exhaust setup.
I want the headers to replicate the stock exhaust manifold dimensions i.e. bolt to the stock side exhaust setup with no modifications. I understand that I will need to install a different alternator mounting bracket ,this is fine with me.
Anyone have any first hand experience with this? Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Good luck! I tried getting headers for my swc and couldn't find anything to mount up to the stock side pipes. Block hugger headers don't even work because the sidepipe can't shift close enough to the block to mount to the header. I went with Hooker Super cops and 4 inch pipes. The only other thing I thought of was to take the original pipes off. Get a set of thrush chambered pipes which are inexpensive and bolt them to a good set of headers. Everything should fit under the stock side pipe covers. Classic

Classicvette, does your hooker supercomp collectors exit out on the side or are they like the regular header collector that exits to the rear?

They exit out the side. They are the ones with the big 4" collector at the end. Classic

Classicvette, If you don't mind, do you know what the part number is for the hooker super comps? I assume yours is a small block. Also, where did you buy it from?
Thanks in advance

I have an older set of 2 1/2" Hooker side pipe headers on my BB, but thought
I read here they were no longer making them? If you guys look into it,
list the current Hooker part # and price.
Thanks! :smash:

The headers I got were part# HOK-2224. Hooker Super Comps.I got them from Summit back in April for $379. They are for my 327. I had a buddy sandblast them, then to them to a local shop for Jet-Hot Ceramic coating. That was $200. Glad to help any way I can. Classic

We have the SuperComp Series Side-Mount Headers with the 4" side pipes. The part numbers for the chromed headers and sidepipes are HOK 2234/65284. We paid $900 last year at Internet Racer's Supply Inc. Their order number is 888-469-7223.

We like the way they look and sound. If you're interested, we have a picture of the set-up on the chassis (pre-body drop). I could email it to you.
