Beautiful car.
Not trying to be a pushy smart ***, but you should get some paint on that wood framing before winter set in.

Kart racer, huh? Our son used to race kage karts at a local dirt track. Regular gokart but with a roll cage added.

Vettes look great!

Just wrapping up (almost) the head gasket change on the C-4, and can't count how many times I thought "NO WAY I could have done this without the Forum and cell phone and camera".

That thing must fly, ours was just a Briggs. Of course when you're 11 years old and hitting 55mph on a dirt 1/4 mile track, it was pretty cool. You have the whole kart still, all we have is the tail piece from the microsprint he moved up to after the kart.

Actually in really good condition:

KT-100 Yamaha Race Engine, 15.7 HP, axle clutch, top speed around 75+ mph.....Formerly owned by NASCAR's Jamie McMurray's Father, Jim.. Had a lot of fun running that Kart. Needs to be in the hands of a racing enthusiast with teenagers interested in racing.........Just Wall Art at my age.....

That's a lot of fun just hanging on the wall. Our kid who loved (and still loves) racing is now 32, married, 2 kids and working on an adoption for a third, house, etc. His heart would love to be out there but his head is on straight and he can't. Now the day may come when one (or more) of those kids wants THEIR turn.....

A couple pics by track photographer Ron Rigby, from 2000:
