Has anyone used Pre-Lube 6
I was out on the Quanta site today looking at paints and ran across this:
Pre-lube 6 is a polymer that bonds with the material it is penetrating. Once dry there is no glossy shine like conventional clear coats. It is a lubricant and anti-rust agent that is different from any other on the market. We use it for our driveshaft restoration service and on many other parts. No restorer should be without this!
I'm not sure at this point if I want to use Cast Blast or Semi Gloss clear on all my Chassis cast / bare metal items.

PreLube6 does a pretty good job on "natural" steel, but you need to renew it every few months; CorrosionX Heavy Duty lasts a little longer. For the very minor "finish" deduction, I use CastBlast and take the deduction - don't like rust.
