How do I remove C2 windshield wiper arm?
I'd like to remove my wiper arms on my 66 so I can remove the vent covers to check under them for any clogged drains. Do I need a special tool for this?
Thanks, Dave

Removing the wiper arms and vent covers will help get big stuff out of the area but if you want to unclog the drains, go inside and remove the kick panels. That will give you access to the drains. Look up under the car just behind the cowl area body mounts and you will find a drain hole in the rocker channel-that should be clear for drainage-a vacuum with a flexible hose stuck in behind the kick panels will clean it out for you. You will be amazed at how much stuff accumulates in there.

The cowl side plenum drain hole is just rearward of the #1 body bolt; remove the outer splash shields (between the frame and the bottom of the fender panel) and you'll see it.

Melting Slicks
This is what I got out of mine (driver's & passenger side). Cleaned it out using a wire up through the drain hole. Took about an hour for each side.
