Default C1 clock removal

I have the 4 nuts removed from heater faceplate and it pulled out
about 1.5 inches. Can not see what holds the clock in. Does it twist out or am I missing something.

yep, it twists,,, i forget which direction and think you have to push while twisting; but if you look carefully at the back you should be able to figure it out.

Thanks Bill,
Now I can see the beveled edge at the front of the clock ( from the
rear) Looks like you twist counter clockwise.

Thanks Ken,
The clock must be pulled to the back ( toward the firewall). Then you rotate it clockwise (turn to right). Then it pulls out the front. There is a
waffle spring that must be collapsed by pulling it back.
Thanks for the help. I'll clean it up and see if it will work.

Thanks for this info, I have been thinking about pulling mine for the past 25 years. Now, I am motivated.
