I know, your right, this car has the stance that make those 18's look just right, and I'm a 15' wheel guy.

No...........................the ones on my black 67 are 40 + year old racing tires. Kelsey Tire makes these 7.75x15 GY Bluestreak street tires.

Actually, guys - Diamond Back tire company (dbtires.com) makes a 15 " blue stripe radial tire in 215/70/15!

I'm not a huge fan of flairs or hooker side pipes, but this car looks evil. everything looks just right.

Another angle I like 15" but 18s seemed just right this time

Thanks, but I am aware of the Kelsey reproductions. Only problem with them is they only come in one size. I'm looking for something like those on your black car. I want them for a restored '65 racer running American Torque Thrust Ds like yours. This car ran them back in the day.

I second that..........these cars look badazz with some rubber under them...C1s with straight axles look awesome too. Theres just not enough rubber on them stock.
As the wheel size increases without substantial width added they look funny.

These cars were made to be hot rodded

I love what you’ve done to the side front quarter panel depressions. Is that a kit or someone’s custom work? I just bot a 64 silver coupe and I’m going with your wheels and would love to modify the side panel depressions. It’s what the race vette’s had in 63 and 64! Did they become functional vents?

Thank you,

Randy
