I certainly wouldn't call my "custom", but I really like the period look of the Torq Thrust D's. Of course, the chrome is easy to clean as well.

I probably spent 30 hours picking out my wheels and tires. Went with 18x9 Billet Specialties "Fuelie" in back and 17x7 in front. Pictures in my gallery.

Ansen 'Top Eliminator' wheels, which have been on the car since '67.

Another vote for American Racing TT D's with Carlisle spinners. These are 15/7's.

Actually, Sixty4, you may remember them from when we met at the "Cos Cob Cruisers" Sunday AM get together early in the summer!

These are 7"-wide, Western 30-spoke turbine wheels with the correct offset (3-3/4" backspacing). These go for about $100-$200 for a set of four. (Think I paid about $80/4.) Hats, cones, and spinners are from Custom Wheels Accessories and are <$50/wheel. Paint is by Duplicolor. To the uneducated eye, most people think these are real or aftermarket Corvette "knock-offs." Tires are 225/60/15 with no fitment issues.

Custom Wheel Accessories in Anaheim, CA. They have a web site.

Spinners are #40, hats are #13, and cones are #19. Enjoy.

A variation on toddalin's: these are also made by Western Wheel but were the OEM version used on '79 Z-28's. Different offset. I used C-3 Corvette centers. PM me for details on fitting them to disc brakes, if interested.
