Default LICS Feedback

Just placed my first order with LICS. I always do stuff online, so I used the online ordering. I had asked Kim about a certain manufacturer/supplier and she promptly answered my email. I ordered online late Monday night. I forgot to order one piece and ordered it the next day and asked for them to consolidate the orders. My order arrived in GA at 10:30 a.m. Thurs. They also seem to have a great return policy.

I've ordered online. Fastest shipping ever from a vendor for me. They seem to be hardcore vette folk serving the midyear niche well.

I used the online process yesterday and all went well. I had one issue where it dumped my list for some reason but I just re-entered it and all was well with a credit card. I'm surprised that it doesn't give you the discount of 10% on $1000 though when you check out. I wonder if that is a bug or if it they will do the credit before they run the card?

I like the online ordering as I have had a few instances where the order was not read back to me and I got some incorrect parts. At least now if I get the wrong parts I can only blame myself. Dave

Dave, Yes, we deduct the 10% when we process the order.
Unfortunately we were unable to set up the online ordering to reflect the discount.

Kim, Thanks for the response I figured you guys were aware. The website is great it allows you to save you order so I can work on it as I can. I'm glad to see that it's works well. Congrats Dave

Not to get too mushy here but I really like the catalog too. It is well laid out and each diagram is numbered so your sure of seleting the correct part.

Some catalogs are laid out so poorly it is exhausting finding something.

Years ordering and not one mistake (all previous by phone and only 1 on-line to date).

I just got an email from the order I placed yesterday morning showing shipping information from UPS, that's pretty cool. It shows that it should arrive Monday the 29th, not cool.

I guess I should have placed the order over the phone yesterday morning to ensure it shipped yesterday instead of this evening. I guess I won't use the online site unless I have time to wait..

I have never had an issue ordering from the site. I order it at night and it ships the next day. Just ordered Wednesday night and it shipped today

They've always had the discount. If you order over $1000 in parts they would give you 10% off. The forum discount is $800 triggers the 10% off. Dave

I'm aware of the $800 special, but believe the discount applies only to internet orders...don't have their catalog here to verify however.

They musta just recently changed that or I could be wrong. I've been wrong before. I've gotten the 10% in the past either way LIC has always has the best parts. I'm glad to see that I can order online now

It's better if you can fax or enter the order online - less chance of us a communication error on the phone.
The $1000 deal can be faxed or online - the Forum special was online only
re the speed of shipping, the online and phone will be the same - It all depends how many orders come through ahead of yours - We do our best to get as many out as quickly as we can.
