Melting Slicks
This raises a question. At the NCRS Winter Regional there were 3 cars parked next to each each supposed to be "Polo White' and each was different. I am doing a 55 Polo White and am confused as to what is the 'correct' white. One had a lot of cream and one was a very bright white. Is there a correct paint code for this color and the red used on the 55s? I understand there is an early white code that is not correct. Is there a laquor available?
Thanks.
Tyler

PPG Paint Code
8011. There is also a fleet code that I paint the 53's with. It is DDL 829.
I use this color and it has judged correct. It is a creamy white. The bright white, usually known as code #11, is not correct.

If you are doing a 55, your red will probably be different. I have seen two different reds in 55. Gypsy Red, dupont 57953 or PPG 70575 or Valspar R1037L.
The other red is more orane than Sportsman Red but not like Venetian Red of 56/57/
