Default Clear Midyear Floor Mats That Don't Slide - Source?

I've looked through the old postings on the dealer installed clear floor mats for midyears and was wondering if anyone knows a manufacturer that makes them with the 'spikes' on the back. The typical mats are smooth and slip and slide all over the place, sometimes making entry and exit a little less than 'graceful'. One of the old postings suggested contacting Long Island Corvette Supply but their reply this morning said their's were smooth on the backside too. In order to have a non-sliding mat I might have to move to a carpeted version, the only problem with that is finding one in dark green for my 66 Mosport Coupe. Any suggestions on a source for the carpeted version in a dark green?
Thanks

Default Velcro

Self adhesive velcro (hook side) dots at each corner of the mat do a great job of preventing movement. Not really that noticeable, and easy to remove for judging (if you're into that sort of thing). Mike

Mike G - How large a velcro dot did you use and did that hold it fairly well?
Joel 67 - I will call AK about their carpeted mats if the velcro dots don't work out. Their website doesn't seem to have any pics of the mats and I'd want to avoid the ones with the large embroidery.
Thanks to both for the input.

Default floor mats

the problem with the spiked mats is that they tend to pull on the carpet loops until they begin to fray. It does not take long for this to happen.

Default Have You Talked To Trim Parts Yet?

They make the rubber mats for most Corvettes. In fact, I just ordered a rubber set in red for our 1966 convertible. I believe they make them to order, so maybe it's worth checking out.

I will have to call them since their online catalog has no listing for midyear mats, just full and partial carpet sets. What was the cost of these rubber mats you ordered and do they have the 'spikes' on the backside?

Avideo - Just got a reply from Trim Parts and they do have these rubber mats in Dark Green and they have the 'nubs' on the backside.
They're sending a catalog. Thanks for the tip.

Default Glad To Be of Help..........

As I mentioned, I ordered a set in red to match the interior of our 1966 Convertible. I was also told at the time of my order, that they mold the mats to order and don't keep many colors in stock other than black and
clear. I Think they cost about $58.00 + shipping.

Just got a black pair for my 65 and they fit nicely and don't slide all over like the clear plastic ones. Since they were a dealer add on and not from the factory, the mats really don't matter so do what looks good and fit right.

Default Response from Trim Parts

Looks like they've dropped the 'clear' mats from their catalog. Here's their response.
We do not do the clear floor mats anymore because they are always full of contamination but we do all other colors and they do have nubs on the back
