When I did the re-build I installed a 2" stock system from Zip and retained the stock exhaust manifolds also. I would like to change the mufflers, but not the manifolds or exhaust size, to a type that would add more sound and character when accelerating. I don't want a type of muffler that uses back-pressure under de-acceleration to create a response. Any brands/ models to explore that might be what I'm looking for-lib

Check out Corvette Central. They sell 2" and 2.5" Magnaflow mufflers and you can listen to a sound clip on their website.
