Oh, I see some of you use Lucas Electric. I’m sorry to hear that, however, I have a left over case of these important ready spares if you need one.

Hmmm.... seems that I have smoked a few C1 wiring harnesses too... Perhaps there is a Chevrolet version available too.

I try to stay away from smoking those wiring harnesses, hard on the lungs, I think, there's gotta be a lot of tar in that tape.... now, sniffing windshield sealer, that's another story...

I’ve just obtained my first rattle can of 3M’s new spray-on orange peel for NCRS judging use. I followed the directions on the can, which say to stand on to top rung of an eight-foot stepladder and spray over your shoulder in the general direction of the car, after a four-boilermaker lunch. Apparently this approximates the care with which old Corvettes were painted originally. It worked satisfactorily, I got full paint credit, but I have permanent goosebumps on my neck, my wife’s Taurus, and my Dobermann’s nose. How do you get this stuff off?

I think you used the wrong word, "important" vs "import" as that smoke is made in the UK. The GM service part number was 8 digits. I wonder if GM sourced their smoke from Lucus? Anyway, my parts books shows 34734887, easy number to remember if one extracts the correct letters off a phone keypad.

When lubricating your muffler bearing be sure and use the "High temp" version designated by "H" preparation.

Well - its really the pilot's 'relief tube' that the throttle-jockeys urinate in on a long mission. There were some fist fights over that one.
i would always test the one in my helicopter by pouring water in it from my canteen. The ground crew would occasionally plug the exit tube with grease and mid-pee it would back up all over you.
