The first one is a full Paul Newman Chassis restomod with LS-1 and custom-forged wheels that LOOK like '58 hubcaps! Incredible, went for $170,000 plus commisssion.

The second one was a stock '58 silver blue (my favorite) that was outside Mandalay Bay.

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels. We built the wheels for the 58 with the Newman chassis and also a set on the gold 58 that sold Friday. If anyone is interested in custom one-off wheels for there car of any design please feel free to contact me and visit my temporary website at www.evodindustries.com or hub garage at http://www.hubgarage.com/mygarage/EvodRacing.

Thanks for the great pics.....

While Barrett-Jackson The TV Show has become a little stale IMO, with more air-time given to Steve Davis and the fat bidders than is given to the cars, I'm sure it must be quite a spectacle in person. At the very least it must be one helluva Car Show, as the pics indicate. A couple of us are considering a day-trip down to the next Palm Beach event just for the Car Show aspect of it.

Just thought I would let those interested know that we are now offering the hubcap style wheels in 17, 18, 19, and 20" diameters for $4750 a set.
We have reduced the price of these wheels by now manufacturing a 6061 T6 billet forging for the centers that we then cut the design from rather then the old way of using a 5 inch thick block of 6061 T6 billet to start from. This is less waste material and less machine time which both cut cost to the customer.
