Hi everyone,
before my body goes back on the car at some point i decided i should clean up the threads on the spare tire bolt hole.
i can find everyone selling the bolt but no mention of thread size or pitch?
i'd just like to run a tap through it quickly if someone knows off hand

I think it is a 9/16 but I will check later

As I recall it's a pretty fine thread, like an 18 or 20. You might take the large bolt and simply measure the threads. Most tap & die sets have a gauge.

thanks for the reply, unfortunately the bolt is long gone and never came with the car
what i think i will do is the next parts order buy the bolt then i can figure out the size and pitch
