Default King of the Mountain

I saw a movie over the weekend that had Dennis Hopper driving a rough looking 1967 Big Block Corvette. Must be a late 70s or early 80s movie..

I found it interesting thst Dennis Hooper appears to be a "speed junkie" and trying to beat the clock "stop watch" going down the mountain..

The movie makes him out to be a "crazy" Vietnam veteran ..

Has an yone else ever seen this movie??

Did you like the movie?? Hopper usually plays a pretty good
freak show.. regardless of the supposed causes of his ills.

I saw Hoppers name in the credits for "Hang'em High" with
Clint Eastwood just the other day.. never knew he was in that one.

Some still photos of Hopper in the Big Block might make for a
good avitar..or fun photo to hang in the garage.

Nah, I think they just wanted Dennis Hopper, and figured out what he was best at, and wrote the role to fit.

God bless the Vietnam Veterans!!!
Amen.

Here are some discussions of the movie

Are you sure the car is a big block? Looks like a small block to me.

PS - wsh they had this movie on DVD. It's one of those guilty pleasure car movies.

After two years of looking I found it on DVD last month. Check You tube - King of the Moutain and one of the links is for a DVD copy. PM me if you can't locate the link.
