Amen to that.

Just a few months ago the Wagonmaster was still explaining to everyone how wonderfully sensible it was to have EIGHT BRANDS, and what advantages accrued to the company from that.

Reports from NBC state "he will be!"
A huge amount of change will be needed along with cultural change within the company. They should have been on this journey for years but they decided to just complete incremental change which does not make you competitive.
Sorry for the ramble but it just, you know me off........

He'll probably get a cushy job at AIG -- oh that's right - AIG exec bonuses are being taxed now so its not such a hot deal.....

Yes,a nd when the gov't runs the auto industry, the auto industry will make car the gov't want us to buy, essentially the equivalent of a Trabant or a Lada, but perhaps hybrid.

Nobody will buy them of course and Toyota and Honda will just get even more market share.

If any of you haven't read Atlas Shrugged, you should.

i am just a simple person. but i do not know why these companies just did not file to go bankrupt. i believe the strong companies would survive and the weak would go a way. the only thing that the gov't has that works is the military. jim

My old copy (1074 pages of small print) is just about worn out, but it hits closer to the truth with each passing day.
