Default 57 vette

pricing on your neighbors 57.
need pictures and description of frame and undercarriage. any tops included, convert or hardtop? what tranny is in it? is it a late serial number or an early one -- #100001 to # 106339
later cars bring more money because the experts can create a four speed car out of it. four speeds were not available until may 57.
better pictures of chrome at windshield post and grill oval would help.

some of the ideas on value you have been given seem good, i'll ad my .02 cents.
I say it brings 27,000 to 29,000 as is. provided it has at least the convertible top frame in good condition, it has a clean non-pitted frame, it is standard trans, it has all guages, and the body does not show excessive previous repair work.

as an example, i drove home a late serial, two top, working wonderbar radio with original speaker, original jack, pit free california frame, single four carb, auto trans, aztec copper 57 car in may 08
I feel like i got a very good deal.
I am interested in this car, can you send more pictures? and answer some of my questions.
thanks John

Thanks for the input, John. It's a 3spd. Late s/n #5855. Top missing, top frame unknown, tach may be missing.. Sounds like you drove home a very nice deal.
