I need some recommendation on sending some items out to be re-chromed. I have seen some poor quality jobs and will only trust my beloved 1958 Trunk Spears to someone with good recommendations. I also need to send out my bumpers front/rear, windshield post, and door post.

Help. Only the best will do.

Vindog, it's difficult to give you a sensible recommendation when we don't know your locale. I'd suggest that you fill in your profile, so someone can recommend a shop in your part of whatever country you are in.

Default chrome bumpers

Virginia Vettes, a supporting vendor. Quality work for very reasonable money. Sent my front bumpers to them, got them back in around two weeks...quality outstanding. Would highly recommend them.

Thank you Dave for the recognition.
We triple plate bumpers at $185/corner, windshield posts at $185/ea and door posts at $185/ea. We repair broken windshield post tabs also.
Stainless steel trim can be polished, dents removed and holes welded up. The stainless is absolute show quality.
Now, trunk irons are a different story especially if they are the brass reproductions. We respectively decline to do these as our intent is to have customers happy with our work.
