I had fun getting the cars to run again. Found a website that described how to clean the small Japanese motors (yikes in a corvette??). Seems the thing that stops them from working is carbon build up on the brushes. Took the small motor apart and cleaned the brushes with some WD40. Have to be careful as there are 3 small washers/spacers in there that easily fall out. Put everything back together and I had a running car. The vette holds the track well but the camaro has a hard time making it around the track. Its driving tire has a flat spot on it! Anyway, had some fun getting everything back in working order.

That's pretty sweet. A lot of improvements in the last year of the StingRay body style. You couldn't get a '65 to corner like that.
