Default Emergency Flasher on a 67

OK, this is probably a dumb question, but how many flashers does a 67 have? There is a slot for one on the fuse panel and there is one mounted under the dash to the left of the center console. Should I have a flasher in both of these? One of my wiring diagrams shows two flashers and the other shows one.

Thanks,

Doc

Should be two: one for turn signals and one for emergency flashers.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. I am having the same problem that another guy had on this forum back in March. My rear lights just start flashing and I can't trace the problem. I replaced the turn signal switch twice and the problem keeps returning. When they are flashing, the flasher under the dash is clicking. If I remove that one, they stop blinking and the rest of the system works with no turn signals.
