Wire spoke wheel repair
Does anyone know of a company that can true-up a spoke
wheel. I have a set of American Racing 15 inch by 6 inch on my
61 vette. The right rear wheel has a flat spot (about 8 inches long).
No wobble in the rim and no damage to wheel. The tire will balance
with no problem, but I get vibration in the gear shift. I had the drive shaft balanced, so the wheel is the problem. I have searched the
internet with no results.

Give Glenn a call at Glenn's Wheel Polishing in Tampa. I don't know if he will true up a set of spoke wheels. He has done some amazing work on my wheels from my NSX. I know he gets work in from all over the country. His phone number is 813-882-0224. Jerry
