2 post lift for body off??
I have a BendPak 2 post lift. I want to remove the body from my 67 convertible to redo the frame and suspension. I saw some posts using a 4 post lift. Has anyone used a 2 post lift for this? Any suggestions?? I was thinking of using hooks and straps tied to the lift arms. The paint and body is perfect so I am looking for a way to keep it that way. Thanks!

The person who lifted the body off of my 62 used a two post lift. He positioned 2x4 underneath the rocker panels then lifted the body off. I believe he does the same thing for C2's since he specializes in C2 corvettes.
It was easier than when I had to put the body onto the chassis using a 4 post lift for a move.

2-post lifts are a great way to handle body lift and drop; just pick it up under the sills.
