Default 1965 Corvette - TSB #774

A few weeks ago I started a thread about WhiteFace Gauge Overlays ==> Click Here and since then I have had a number of people informed me that I used a 1966 temp gauge overlay.

To clear matters up: When I purchased my ’65 it had a ’66 Temp gauge installed (see below), which could be correct according to Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) #774 Dated Nov 23, 1965.

I don't know if my '65 had '66 installed per TSB 774 or PO just install a '66 temp gauge. But in either case I use '66 overlay on '66 gauge.

This matter had been brought up before but for newer members here is the TSB for review ===> Click Here

I wish I'd never seen this thread. I'm just finishing up a several year frame off on a white 65 with silver interior. 300hp, auto, a/c, PS, PB and telescopic and those white guages may cause a little more project creep.
