Hi, I should be in WA about the last week in August. It will take me about 3 weeks to get through mid west, one week high plains, and last week I should be in Northwest.

PM with email, name, address etc, phone, so I can put you in data base and gps. You are on map.

Jack

PS My first vette was a 61, 283, stock , bought in 1969 $900. Unfortunately , caught fire 6 months later and melted. Got 66 and have had it from 69 on. $2,100 .

Jack, since your not heading to Canada, I'll just ask a silly question. Are you planning on painting your car first or after your trip?

I don't think I am going to Canada, but you never know. Here are some photos

It will be Milano Maroon again, the original color. I should get the car back next month. My painter is taking his time, he knows about my trip and the amount of people who may look at it .

I have had it British Racing Green for about 35 years, but for this trip, I did not want to hear , it's a nice car ,but not the right color..

Hi ,

You are on the map. I will send updates later . Thanks for your interest.

My first corvette was a White 61, Black interior. Bought it 1969 for $900.

It caught fire 6 months later. My fault, no air cleaner, gas dumped on engine,

Jack

Your travel line goes right over my house! Actually, that is because the line is quite wide and doesn't really track Route 114 in Shelter Island, NY, which, when coupled with two ferry rides, connects the North and South Forks of Long Island. I'm in Southold, about 7 miles West of the North Ferry terminal in Greenport, and my '61 would be pleased to make you acquantance. I've only had it for 24 years so it might not fit (but if you add the time I had my '59 you make 30 years), and I do have some other cars that have been in the garage for close to 50 years that might be of interst.

Hi , Thanks for the interest. I spent, and my car, a good deal of our youth in Southampton from 1969 - 74 . I use to go to Southhold for steaks . I can't remember the name of the place, It was a small gray cape code looking place.

PM with your , name, phone, address, email. I will put you on the map. I love to stop by.

Just a little update. As most can see, the stops on the map keep growing and that is great, but, How do I meet all who are interested?

I think I am going to need help in some states, coordinating common meeting places , where is is not practical for me drive to owners locations.
This may also help a group who can drive to the common spot.

If you would like to help in your state let me know.

Jack
