I've been looking all my adult life for one of these....
......in the Noland Adams book on page 139. He describes the valve and fitting that screws into the plenum.
"On early injection units, the elbow and PCV valve had an anodized black finish. Later, at about serial number 5000, the finish on the fitting and PCV valve was changed to brass. The brass PCV valve on 30837S114362 is identified as AV V-590".
Anybody have one for sale?

Maybe I should quit looking. Has anyone besides this book author seen what is described above?

Mike, Truthfully in all my years of playing with FI's I have never seen a brass PCV valve no matter WTF the application. Let me reword that. In all my years of playing with Corvettes I have never seen a brass pcv valve period.
Now maybe there is an aftermarket one that's made from brass. I have a collection of PCV's with various numbers and none are brass.
I am sure my pal Jerry never saw one either.
Even the early sand cast 63's did NOT use a POC brass pcv valve.
I have restored 2 or 3 CA 62 FI cars that had a PCV valve. Now I never really had the correct number according to what I saw on the DB but nevertheless the 62 didn't use a brass one.
Next time I see CC I will ask him about it.
Meanwhile I see you live close to JP.
Maybe take nice driveby and visit your friend and pick up a couple of cases of Lead crapola while you're at it. After all it doesn't hurt to have a little lead for your pencil don't u know. FI Art

Bramlett is spelled with two "t's".
Please ask CC for a correction to the rule book before someone comes on the market with a $500 repop.
I don't need any JP lead rocket fuel. My FI runs fine on 89 octane as you know.
Thanks for your input.
PS, I've never seen a brass valve either.
