I saw this old post and needed to ask a question. Did you ever find a 1960 Powerglide dipstick? If so where did you find it? Also, what is the length of the dip stick excluding the cap?

I bought a powerglide dip stick and tube from a 1957 Chevy passenger car which also uses the same powerglide tranny. You might try to find one. I got mine 6 years ago from Desert Auto. They are that Junkyard that has the reality TV show.
