Hello,
I have a 1110985 ditributor with date code 3-G-9. All I can find shows this was used on 1962 327/340HP. Mine is dated July 9, 1963. Anyone understand why its dated this and only shone used on 62 models. Any help greatly appreciated, Thanks Maurice

MANY parts that were specific to a model or year, were still produced long after the vehicle was built.
An excellent example is the rearend center section that was used up through 62 (64 on pass cars) was still being cast/assembled up into the later 60s.
