Jack's visit to Park City, UT
Jumping Jack Flash, yeah Jackfit. Update:
Jack arrived at our place in Park City, UT, about 4:30 Friday afternoon and spent the night. He left Saturday about 10 am headed to Boise, ID.
While he was here we had a great visit, and a great car talk. Hats off to Jack for his nerve in going cross-country and spending a lot of time away from his friends and family at home.
I will be posting some photos of our cars and of Jack doing his thing to my Photo Album. He's a happy guy with his car.

Can't Talk Now
In Sun Valley Idaho Ketchum , to be exact. Camping by a river, just me and the coyotes, once I leave town, a very nice town.
Tomorrow off to the Northwest, Yakima , I hope
Thanks Gary, Sharon and Ashley for you wonderful hospitality and making my time in Park City most enjoyable,
PS Gary has very good tastes in Sour Mash Wiskey

Great place to visit isn't it. The views are there are something else. I loved it when we drove our rods out to Spokane for the Northwest Nationals. Take care and thanks for the compliments and posting the photos. Have a great rest of your trip and I wish you all the luck in the world for no breakdowns.

Ha Ha Jack, Sun Valley and Ketchum. Idaho. That's where my wife is from. She and I both wish that at this point in my life, that I were you. You are living the dream for a lot of us on the Forum.

700 miles today, and I just made it to his garage. That noise I was speaking about, well rear outer u joint , shot (see pictures) we got a replacement , but it looks like my rear flange is cracked.
Anybody near me that has one, or knows where one is in WA let us know, I will be here for at least a few days.
Nice cars

Just picked up the thread and read all 219 reply's. What a great read. You are one brave hombre. You're legs must be massive to support a set of bowling *****. I had visions of taking my '63 down the pacific coast highway of Oregon and Calif. until one evening my headlights went out. Faulty "new" light switch. Put in the original and it's still working fine. Then ran out of gas because my fuel guage quit working. It still isn't fixed. But I suppose we all have such tales. At this point I'm afraid to drive across town let alone the U.S.
It was great reading of your travels and the best to you on your trip home.
When I'm in my vette I'm FLNGOOD. Wayne

When my LH outer ujoint died in Chattanooga on the 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour, I took my SPARE new ujoint out of the tool bin, borrowed a floor jack from the GM truck, and changed it in the parking lot. You younger guys are going to have to get prepared.
