I stopped in to see if any progress was being made on my top, Speed said yes and told me , "Don't come back until I call you"

I asked him when that might be? He said " when I do "

I slowly backed out of the door, saying " Oh that's good, I'll wait for your call.

I must have been really silly to think I would get my car back in the same day, he did hint that it might be on Friday.

Of course, I asked him when that might be on Friday ? He said "when I call"

PS I did get a peek, looks like he still does good work, just a little slower now

Nice goin, Jack - **** off an old guy working with sharp instruments on a heavy cloth top for an old car never designed for that style of top in the first place.

Quit jonesin' for your ride. Get inside and do something with your wife, maybe prep for the holidays. You'll be OK without your car for a day or two, or three.. or four even. Really, you'll be OK. Really, you will! Breathe..... in... out... in....

I needed to see with my own eyes, what has happen to my car.

I knew that he does not work on the weekends, so.......I parked on the side alley of the building and looked in the window.....
