I Agree
My mistake. I had just signed up to that site yesterday and hadn't looked closely at it. I spent a little time looking today and I'm disappointed. The site wants you to supply them with info. but they don't give any info. out. Waste of time if you ask me. They're now deleted. C2 registry is 100 times better.

IMO they serve different purposes for people who register their cars. c2registry.org allows you to search the listing of registered Sting Rays. 63-67corvette.com lets you post requests for information, whether or not the Sting Ray you need information about is registered.
One requires that information about your car be made public and the other does not.
I will guess that one reason c2registry has fewer Sting Rays registered has to do with privacy, and by extension, how certain the current registered owners are that their cars have has never been stolen, or documented in a configuration other than than they have been registered.
The NCRS and CF ebay police are always waiting to pounce.....

I think I'd be shy about giving personal info that could lead people to an address where my car might be garaged. DMV isn't supposed to give that out anymore.
And I'd make sure my annual mileage claim was less than what my collector car insurance policy allows.

Michael, I noticed the page created listing my car's options has a totals line that gives the total order cost (less tax and freight) and the total percent. The total percent for my car is 0.00, and beneath that is a note: (1 cars)
Does that mean mine is the only car registered with that list of options?

I remember seeing a note in Noland Adams book that less
than 200 of the 427ci/390hp 1966 roadsters got A-C, but I didn't think all the other options would make it unique. Maybe so.
It's probably a good thing I've bagged all the dated original stuff as the years have gone by.....
