Close, we actually ended up doing 9 for them. All were rollers minus engines and wiring and paint.

It was really cool when we saw the halftime preview.

Default GS pricing

I picked up a copy of the DuPont Registry today to see what the Upper Crust of the car world is doing. In there I found two MAI GS for sale. One a Penske roadster and the other a red coupe. Both for sale from the same person. The roadster offered at $115,000 and the coupe at $125,000 !!!! Roadster has a 468 hp 383 stroker with a 4bbl and the coupe has a ZZ430 BB. if anyone wants any other info let me know.

===============================
As I watched it, I felt like that Indian about 30 years ago on the commercial about the US being littered and polluted.

It started to bring a tear to my eyes.

I'll see the show for sure. I hope it creates interest in these cars.

There was a long article in the Classic Car Trader (picture heavy) about the cars used in FF5. They said that for the off road scenes with the Grand Sport the used Volkswagen powered cars... I need to see that movie just to see the Grand Sport in action.

The line up of cars is pretty impressive in the FF5. Even if it turns out to be poor film I'm still going to see it just for the cars...

The silver paint sounds enticing but I was thinking about cut glass mirror (for a non-original car).

Opinions?

I'm finally getting something done with my GS build and I'm trying to get the car ready for the Goodwood festival of Speed in the UK in late June. It's going to be really close, but I had to make myself a deadline, otherwise I would never finish this car.

Anyways, I'm thinking about the final details such as the air jacks, race number lights on doors etc.

Does anyone have a good source on where to look for the items mentioned above?

I'm making my version of the 001 in Sebring '66 and I would really like to add many of the features seen on that car back in the day.

As far as the pneumatic jacks go I've found a company that sells something I could use. But does anyone know how the OIL and WATER nozzles worked? Anyone have any pictures of how they were operated?

I try to remember to take some pictures of how my car sits today and post some here as well.

Contact Dick at Guldstrand Engineering in Burbank, California. He drove the Penske GS in that race and should remember.
