I just Booked my Flight and Hotel and am looking forward to this Event.

It will be my first Event of this kind.

I also am looking forward to meeting fellow Corvette Forum Members.

The assistance on this board has been fantastic.

Flying in Thursday night, Leaving Sunday morning.

Hopefully it will be warmer than Vancouver is currently.

Travel safe

I just found a cheap flight, so I'm in!
Arrive Thursday morning, leave Sunday morning. I usually only get there for the Saturday afternoon, should be fun to have some more time and also check out the auction.
Look forward to seeing all of you, I'm going to try and print a copy of my forum avatar and make a name tag out of it, maybe you guys could do the same.

A big group of German attendees meet:

Where: Logan´s Roadhouse ( opposite of Old town)
When: Friday, January 28th, 2011, 8pm (20.00hrs)
They speak Corvette.
If you dare to go international, go and pick a bit on them.

Here's a link to the Dana Mecum auction schedule.

http://mecum.com/auctions/schedule.cfm

Click on the Kissimmee auction to get the details, i.e. cars. etc.

The auction of 4-5 miles down the road from Old Town in the Osceola Heritage Park.

I'm sure if you go to the Florida NCRS website, or maybe to the NCRS.org website that they will have a schedule of when the flight judging will occur, judging schools, etc.

There are no specific C1, 2,3,4,5,6 "events". The SACC is holding their convention at the same time. Those are the "solid axle" guys.

The big NCCC show is on Sunday in Old Town. That is a separate event from the NCRS Regional.

i THINK the SACC stuff starts on Monday, not concurrent with the NCRS stuff.

My bad. You're right, Bill. The SACC event starts the Monday FOLLOWING the NCRS Regional. Here's a "cut and paste".

The Solid Axle Corvette Club (SACC) will hold the 2011 National Convention in Kissimmee, Florida, January 30 – February 2, 2011, immediately following the NCRS Winter Regional. See the Sunshine State Chapter website at www.sssacc.org for details or call John Battista at (302) 381-9786.

Default 2011 SACC Convention

Actually, the SACC Convention starts on Sunday, Jan 30, with registration at the East Gate Holiday Inn between the hours of 3 - 8 PM. Also, on Sunday, starting at 5:30 PM we have a reception for those registered for that activity.

On Monday, Jan 31, between 7:45 and 8:10 AM we line up the carvan to the Garlits Museum.

A full schedule of the event as well as the tickets for those things registrants signed up for will be in the registration package you will get when you sign in.

I got in Kissimmee around 1:00 am this morning, after a trouble free 16 hour drive.

It's windy and a light shower just passed through. They're calling for a high of around 67 today. I talked to my wife about a half hour ago and it's snowing heavily in South Jersey and they're calling fo 6-10 inches. Gee, I feel bad for my.

This Florida Winter Regional has to be best idea the NCRS ever came up with.

Just got back...had to come home and take care of some consulting work. Bought some wide whitewalls and some rebuilt wiper motor transmissions for very decent prices. Crowd was picking up around 1:30pm when I departed but vendor attendance was a little thin. Heard that lots of folks got hung up coming from the North due to weather. Sorry I missed some forum folks (I'll be back at Old Town tomorrow) but duty called.

Saw Mike Coletta (61retro) .... good to see him out and about after his mishap.

I'll be vette-less tomorrow...I'm getting some work done on it that I can't handle. They guy needs an extra day to finish up (which I ain't happy about). But you are welcome to check it out any time after I get it back..

Any parking area's at the show without being judged but close to the action? bringing the 64 Convertible with Dad and he will probably want to sit more than walk (still hope I'm as healthy as he is at 82).

Thanks,
R.J.

Which way are you coming up? 441 or the Turnpike to I-75? You'll be in my area then. How many are coming?

Last year they had "Corvette Only" parking in the lot directly across the street from the gate where the judged cars enter on Friday..I parked there. I was told by one of the crew working the event today that they would do that again tomorrow.
