Default questions about 67 f 41 shocks

I have a pair of rear f 41 shocks for a 67 corvette, but am confused about the way it is dated. In the NCRS info manual and judging guide it states that the stamp should read

3171489 my shows as 3171489
Delco Products Delco Products
Dayton Ohio USA Dayton Ohio USA
Pliacell (date) 7 E 67 Pliacell

My question is why is mine dated oppiste then the judging manual? Also does the date mean july 5th week of 67 or does it mean 7th day of May 67? Also could this be a restamp, and a mistake on postioning the date and pliacell? Thanks for any help.

Your shocks are dated July, 5th week, 1967. If you are concerned about the stamping, post a pic and I will try to help.
