Default 340hp set-up and 461x heads

Now that I have put the Arizona Speed FI unit and vortec heads on my
'63 I am thinking of selling the complete 340hp set-up (manifold, carb, air cleaner, dist, linkage, fuel lines etc.) and the 461x heads to re-coup some of my costs. The 340hp set-up isn't original as I have an FI car that had the FI unit replaced with this. The 461x heads are the original ones. Will these things add any value to my car at re-sale time or should I sell to someone who could use them now?

Thoughts?

If they aren't in the proper date range for your car? I don't see any value in retaining them.

Keep the heads!

I don't know the value of your used parts but I am very interested in how your new parts work. Are they on a 327 or 350 block? How do you like the changes?

They are on the numbers matching 327. You can read all about it on this thread I started last summer:

They are in the proper date range. Just not original to this car.

I'll give you $100.00 for the pair.

I would save them if I were you. Unless you are dirt poor and/or need the money to buy methamphetamine.

Do you live in a double-wide?

Definitely hang onto the heads, somebody will love 'em later since they are THE original heads and good ones at that. The rest can be sold when you are convinced (like a year from now) that the FI worked out as expected. JMHO

Since none of those parts are serialed. The date is the big matching issue. Keep EVERYTHING!
