Default 53-55 Headlight screens

Have a friend looking for Headlight screens that fit original like my nos set on my 55 . Most repro's I've seen are flatter and cant conform to the body line. Is there some one reproing them correct. Thanks

Roy, It is going to be hard to find NOS screens. I have original ones on my 54 but I need them. Sorry, if I hear of any I will let you know.

Mike again I don't understand why some one would repro's a part and not do it correct . It takes time and money to invest in reproing a part and so many are done wrong, that I don't get it.
Why do they make a part and not pay attention ? I ask them that and they never give me a good answer!

I've always hand formed mine to look as good as Roy's. As long as they've never been kinked, you can shape them correctly. Especially when they are new and flat.

Roy, your car is still awesome as always!

Was used in early road racing to protect headlights from being broken by flying rocks and debris.

My lift is the best accessory I ever bought for my 55 , how did the front A arm do after I tightened it ? Loved ready your story as you drove home. My wife and I did the same thing 12 years ago going to NY and back to Ca. Pulling and sleeping in the our tear drop trailer at KOA's when not staying with friends we met along the way. The best trip ever and many memories like you must have. We still drive and take our trailer when going fare from home.
