[VIDEO] 500K Mile ‘65 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe Drives On
I came across a cool video which profiles a 1965 Corvette Coupe with nearly 500,000 miles. The car has been the daily driver for the same owner for 46 years!
Although it has been maintained and freshened up over the years, the Sting Ray still sports its original 327 Cubic Inch V8. The 300 horse car is mated to a 4-speed, but other than that, there are very little other options – no power brakes, steering or air conditioning.

Amusing how wide-angle lens movement in the shots looking back from the nose make it appear that the hood and finders are flexing over bumps, but they're not.
A bit too much lean in the corners, I'd recommend Classsic Red Konis on the softest setting, which should last forever, or OE Delcos every 15-20,000 miles.

Nice video Somewhere along the line they put a 66/67 grille on it. Still looks and sounds great.
Nice to see these cars being used for their intended purpose: Driving

I feel the same way when I'm driving mine, just as happy as can be! I bet pretty much every one of us feels the same. The fun never goes away if you have one of these. 450000 miles, that guy got a hell of a lot of enjoyment out of his.

The view looking over the hood, brought to mind the first time I drove my 66 after I bought it. Great memories, thanks....
