Sorry for the extremely late reply. Yes 7011 is a saddle tan SWC, the interior colour is saddle tan as well. It’s retains its original drivetrain with BW T-10 4 speed. It has the tool tray under the passenger seat. It sports a set of over the counter Kelsey Hayes knock off wheels as well.
Thanks dooboy!

I have your '63 vin #1,243 listed as well, with black interior and a white soft top.
Is it a real code 923 Riverside Red car?
Your cars Body number is shown on your Trim Tag. Can you please tell me what it is? I'll guess that it's body #738, or close ??
Thanks!
Syd

Can't remember if I sent this info in or not. I have a silverblue 63 SWC 106279. Born on 1/5/63. Purchased in Sept 2013 in Chicago. Have very little history except from owners documentation on restoration done in 2008. Car is mostly original except for period correct NOM motor. Have always wanted to trace ownership of car to track down original motor but have had no luck.

You must have sent me your 63's info because I have it recorded including it's body number.
Have you requested the Shipping Data Report for your car from the ncrs? I did for mine when the service first started and it helped me locate the original owner of my coupe!
Good luck!

Hey Syd, you may have answered this already earlier, but I'm wondering: are you ever going to make your data available to the general Corvette owner, or anyone, for that matter?
Thanks,
Mike

I have been asked quite a few times before. I originally began compiling this list for my own use with the desire to learn more about '63 production, paint color rarity etc. and with the hope of maybe finding the cars built alongside mine for numbers and component comparison.
The list of cars grew quickly and over the years has never really slowed down much and I have been lucky to compare some built close to mine.
I had thought that once I hit 10% of '63 production that I would maybe write an article with some of my findings for the NCRS Restorer magazine but I blew through that target easily and then hit 15% and with new cars appearing weekly 20%. The current list is now about 700 cars away from 25% of total production.
I have been asking myself what to do with this information. If I were to go ahead and release it just how would I do it? Mail it out to those who have asked for it in the past and just let it circulate? I believe that is what was done with the Brooks registry as I was told.
However, some people have warned me that by releasing it I would be helping some of those who could use the info for shady purposes. Like helping those who might align numbers for false cars and I certainly do not want that to happen. A few others have suggested to me that I sell the list or provide a service.
At this point I might as well reach for the 25% total and use that time to think over if and how to release the information. Perhaps if I do not include the Body numbers in the data it would eliminate a good part of that threat from counterfeiters? In my eyes that would be a shame because it tells and shows a lot about the story.

Syd,
Was that silver split window you saw on Cape Cod in the Brewster/Dennis area.?
If so it's a pretty nice FI car owned by a friend and has some nice NCRS pedigree.
Do you have #12493 in your registry.? I own that one.

Yep, that Silver split came around the corner right in front of my car as it turning off of old Rte 6A in Brewster right near the Dennis town line. He came and went so quickly that I don't remember if I noticed the FI badging but I did see an NCRS decal. A stunner of a '63 for sure! My sis was following me in her car with some of her kids and she went wild.
I do have your '63 #12,493 listed in my file as a Black/Red 300 4spd Coupe with PS. Hope this is correct?
Like others, could you please tell me its body number? I'll take a guess and say Body #6,830?
Thanks Dave and happy holidays!

Syd,
Your close as I'm sure you suspected. It's #6826.
It is configured as you indicate.
Is there any way you can tell me how long it's been in your registry. ???
I have the owner history back to the mid 80's and trying to go further back.
The car you saw is my friends split. He lives in Brewster year round. It's a very nice piece. I see it over summer as I live in Brewster during the good months as well.
Do you share your data with those who contribute. ????
Thanks for your good work.

I had actually thought that your body number would be #6,828 but I was close.
I'm not certain how long I have had the info for your '63 but I do remember getting some of the info (paint color?) from your posts here.
I'm still trying to sort out what to do with my research file and decide how and if to share the data. As I get closer to the 25% total of '63 production mark I will begin the task of auditing the entries as there are notations that would need clarification for all to understand. In the meantime it is my pleasure to help out others as best that I can.
Thanks again Dave.
