He wrote a dam book about himself and very little about the car.

The add says original and unmolested. I didn't know they had a missing right front fender option.

It's still not as bad as the guy with the NOM black 67 427-400 that wants 1.5M because it's the only one in the universe.

Looks like it's been priced for a quick sale for almost 10 years.

You may remember me as the guy at the show with the hot wife
Least he could have done is posted pics of the hot wife. Altho if his evaluation of women is as far off as his evaluation of Corvette values, forget it!

"Unmolested and well-preserved"? Well, it says he has always searched for that but in this case I'd say he settled for less!

Maybe somebody should offer him that $36,500 he was firm about back in 2001! The ad is still out there, if he raises the price it's bait and switch!

Value (up or down) market of collectables) depends on individuals who want and can pay what the seller wants. There is no mass market (with normal competitive presssures. The screwed up Obama economy has no effect on the motivations and available dollars! You are dealing with individual desires and availability. Those with available dollars, depending on their wants are the buyers. They will not be affected by the economy! just my 2 cents. regards, Abe G

I am going to take a wild azz guess here and predict that the seller used to be Michael Jackson's attorney......

Your honor, that car has clearly not been molested....

That must have been some hit this car took to be missing its entire front end.

'Unmolested and well preserved' parts car.

Not necessarily. It doesn't take much of a hit to do a lot of damage to the front clip. A bent frame would be a much better indication of a hard hit. Of course anyone thinking of buying this car to restore (for any amount of money) should check out the frame.

Even with the non-original engine, a '67 Lyndale/teal big block coupe needing a front clip is worthy of restoration. Plenty of the members here who own pristine show cars started off with worse. The car is what it is, it's the owner who's crazy.

Let's see - he wants 90 grand for an NOM '67 with no VIN, trim tag, pad or engine or chassis photos and the front end knocked off? I think Jack Nicholson starred in that movie .

In the ad from 10 years ago he says after playing with Corvettes and muscle cars for over 30 years....now 10 years later he says for 35 years.

And it's perhaps no surprise but still worth noting that the cars was stored in 1977 and somewhere before that the original motor was replaced for some reason. Didn't last all that long, did it.

Says it "has occupied the number one bay of (his) climate controlled shop" but the photos show it's alongside a bench, behind a sandblast cabinet (THAT'S gotta make for real good conditions ) and so close to the yellow Vette next to it that water would not run between them.

An interesting car but I think I'll wait another 10 years and buy it for $150,000!
