haven't been online until tonight, man this trip has been a blast. hot hot hot. will be cool in michigan tho.

email me (see profile) if you want to catch up in indy. i've been running up the road with some guys in a '70 chevelle w/MN tags that i met and also a guy from puerto rico in a black C2 coupe with a few racing stickers on it and a red stinger hood. (430ci).

i may not be on here again before detroit, but will get email if you send it.
Mikey. I looked for the car today but didn't see it. We were pretty beat when we finally got on Indianapolis Raceway grounds. Too much heat and a long ride. We did the lap on the track. Pretty cool. I was hoping for some speed but that was not possible. Sent you an email.

I met them at cocoa beach friday. They are a very nice couple. We walk the show together on Saturday. They are good people and car enthusiasts.

We did the Cocoa Beach to Valdosta run, had to be back for work on Tuesday, if you like cars, this is a event you really need to check out, wish we could have done more, it was a ball.

I have a few pics I will get up during the weekend

well i am home, although the car is still in michigan. i will fly back up to drive it back over 4th of july weekend. what a great tour this was! i finally got to meet tom (sky65) and his wife in muskegon and we drove over to detroit together with roberto and our new friends from MN, mike and jim in the chevelle. the GM proving grounds was cool and we had a nice detour through some of my old stomping grounds which yielded some nice photo ops.

next year is detroit to dallas and i plan to do it again!

Man that was a GREAT time! Highly recommend it. Met some great folks here on the forum and others as well. My wife, not particularly a car person, even loved it. I think it actually helped her understand what I love about cars. It's not just the cars but car people too. We are already planing how to get two weeks off to do it again next year.

I have some more links to post and will do it as soon as I can. The reality of work and 150 unread emails has priority right now.

IT WAS VERY...VERY COOL.

Tom
