Blue 396

Not as radical as cutting out the "spine" on a '63 but my neighbor had a nice red '65 396 coupe and when '66 427 arrived he went to local stealership ordered all the '66 emblems, hubcaps, (rare rare car NO knockoffs) grill, radio heater *****, chorme door pulls, 427/450 hp air cleaner lid decals and WOW he had a brand new 1966 427/450 coupe.

A lot of this went on in the 60's and no one gave it any thought best I recall hubcaps went on a pickup and the rest including the grill in the dumpster !!! Little di we know back in the "day"
