Anyone have personal experience with 56-7 repo exhaust chrome
Does anyone here have personal knowledge or experience with the 56-57 repo exhaust pieces (6-pieces) from Corvette Central? I need to replace 4 of my 6 pieces and they're having a small special.

If you have original stuff to re-chrome, use it.
IMHO The CC stuff is not quite the same in appearance and the chrome is poor quality.

I found the fit is not as good as original and the chrome plating does not hold up.

Regarding the last two comments, could you be more specific? We are always looking for feedback on our exhaust components, and we make continuous improvements to them based on verification of feedback.

When I ordered the pieces (2 upper spears and one bezel), I asked if they could be inspected and hand picked. I got a call yesterday informing me that a person had gone out and personally picked and selected the 3 pieces.
We'll see when they arrive. If they are acceptable, I'll be impressed. I've bought parts from CC for MANY, MANY years and I don't recall ever being disappointed. BUUUUUUUUUUUUT, this time, the parts are some that will be very obvious and I want them to be at least, or better than original.
I need one lower spear, but when I called and talked to a person in customer service, he even acknowledged that the lower spears are not equal to originals and they are working to get that corrected.
