Thanks guys. I've always been partial to Nassau Blue myself, but I really don't think the midyears had any undesirable colors. By the way, I also saved the original exhaust manifolds, distributor shielding, and alternator.

Some dealers stamped the delivery date on the VIN tag. At least that's what I've been told about a similar stamp on my '65.

GREAT RESULTS DON ! How nice to see another vintage Corvette back on the highway. The car looks awesome and built your way makes it very personal.

By the way there is a NCRS SO CAL Chapter meet in Fallbrook tomorrow if you want to see all the ''number crunching'' people and cars.

That's interesting Jim. Built in September of '65 and delivered in March of '66. Was a 6 month interval between build and sale typical? By the way, I'm only the 3rd owner of this car.

I've never been to a NCRS meet. I may get some sideways stares at my lightly modified Corvette, but I don't really mind.
