Pics from a neat country car show
On a labor-day weekend few years back, a car guy living out in the country about an hour and a half east of Montreal, decided to invite his car buddies to come hang at his spread for the weekend.
Fast forward to 2011, and about 500 vintage cars, trucks and rods came to play.
I missed a few of the great ones, but here is a sampler.
Paul
And finally a Vette for a parting shot.

Outstanding - love that '58!
I'm not that knowledgeable on bikes - what's that old one?

A great event with a beautiful drive along the Richelieu river through several small historic towns to get there.
Not sure exactly sure what the bike was, but I think it was from the seventies and made to look older. I've seen it on the road before pulling it's trailer, looks like it's out of Mad Max or something.
Hard to tell from the pic, but the '58 was done to look like it had faded original charcoal paint. There were chips here and there where primer was showing through, at first I thought that it was faded original, but the finish was to uniform over the whole body.
The straight eight was in a rat rod pickup that I had see before at another show, here's a pic of the whole thing.

Freeway Flyer?
Does anyone know what the red/orange 3 wheeler is? It may be a "Freeway Flyer" made in Minneapolis in the 70's. That had a 16HP Tecumseh single cylinder OHV engine for it's power/weight ratio. Got 70-80 mpg... Thanks.

Great setting for a car show.
I have a friend in Illinois that has a stocked old general store/gas station that some times has car shows or photo ops for his favorite charity.
